Careers at HUB2

HUB2 is a French fintech founded in 2019 by Ashley Gaüzère (Telecom 2004, ex Orange Middle-East Africa), joined in 2023 by a co-founder, Jean-Rémi Kouchakji (HEC 2013, ex founder of PayinTech). Due to the lack of an efficient and inclusive banking system in Africa, everyone pays by mobile through electronic wallets (Mobile Money) developed by telecom operators in the region. HUB2 is the start-up that builds a payment infrastructure to facilitate interoperability between the payment methods present in the region (Mobile Money, bank cards, bank transfers). To date, HUB2 integrates more than 30 mobile money and banking networks, including the main ones (Orange, MTN, Moov, Wave…), and operates in 9 countries across West and Central Africa. HUB2’s clients today include, among others, neo-banks, payment aggregators, international money transfer operators, microcredit companies, and e-commerce merchants. HUB2 currently processes €1bn in annual transactions across 9 countries. It employs 40 people across its 4 offices in Abidjan, Paris, La Réunion, and Mauritius. HUB2 is a hypergrowth start-up and plans to continue on this trajectory in 2025 / 2026 in West and Central Africa. Our ambition is to build the single payment platform across all of Francophone Africa.
