HUB2 has developed a robust and reliable payment infrastructure to facilitate the interoperability of payment methods present in its countries of operation to meet the payment needs of businesses (Mobile Money, bank card, bank transfer, etc.). To date, HUB2 integrates over 30 Mobile Money and bank networks, including the main ones (Orange, MTN, Moov, Mixx, Wave, etc.) and operates in 12 countries in West and Central Africa. HUB2's clients today include businesses, banks, neo-banks, Merchants, Insurers, and international transfer operators.
HUB2 is a French fintech founded in 2019 by Ashley Gaüzère (Telecom 2004, ex-Orange Middle-East Africa), and joined in 2023 by late founder Jean-Rémi Kouchakji (HEC 2013, ex-founder PayinTech). The company emerged in response to the lack of an inclusive and efficient banking system in Africa, where most transactions are conducted via mobile wallets developed by regional telecom operators,
HUB2 is building a payment infrastructure to facilitate the interoperability of payment methods across the region, including Mobile Money, bank cards and bank transfers. To date, HUB2 integrates with 30 mobile money and banking networks, including major operators such as Orange, MTN, Moov, and Wave, and operates in nine countries in West and Central Africa. Our clients range from neobanks, payment aggregators, international transfer operators, microcredit companies, to e-commerce businesses.
Currently, HUB2 processes €1 billion in annual transaction volumes across these nine countries. The company employs over 40 people, with one-third based in France (focused on tech and product development) and two-thirds in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire (handling sales and operations). As a high-growth startup, HUB2 plans to continue this trajectory through 2026 and 2027 in West and Central Africa. Our ambition is to establish the leading payment platform across Francophone Africa.
Context
In a context of hyper-growth and following an oversubscribed Series A financing round in 2024, the company aims to design, structure and develop strategic assets designed to maintain its competitive edge and build the pan-African multi-medium payment platform of tomorrow. Backed by top investors and entering post-Series A growth, we’re seeking an exceptional Lead Qualifier to join our sales team.
Missions
As a LEAD QUALIFIER at Hub2, you'll own end-to-end product delivery while operating in our fast-paced, startup environment.
Your missions include (but are not limited to):
- Ensure the effective qualification of leads generated through sales and marketing campaigns.
- Identify and assess prospects’ needs to efficiently guide the sales teams.
- Maintain a high standard of lead quality transferred to the sales teams in order to optimize conversion rates.
- Contribute to the expansion and development of the fintech’s client portfolio.
- Support the continuous improvement of prospecting and lead qualification processes.

Must haves
- Basic knowledge of sales prospecting and customer relationship management.
- Good understanding of digital and technological tools.
- Basic knowledge of digital financial services would be considered an asset.
- Basic understanding of database management and office productivity tools.

- Knowledge of sales prospecting techniques.
- Understanding of digital financial services and the fintech ecosystem.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms and office productivity tools.
- Knowledge of customer relationship management and lead qualification techniques.
