Intern Accountant

Job description

Artificial Solutions is looking for an intern accountant to assist the Accountants with the daily operations of the Financial Controlling & Accounting Team such as monthly closing, preparation of tax returns, processing accounts payable & receivable and other treasury tasks. The role is based in our Finance Headquarters in Barcelona.

This is a challenging junior role and an excellent opportunity for the right person to develop his/her accounting skills in a multinational and fast-paced environment.

We are looking for a person with a strong interest in audit, company structures and the corporate environment, The ideal candidate is keen to understand how companies operate internally and enjoys working with accounting, controls and processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Transaction Processing of General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
Assist with preparations of Tax returns
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and participate with other treasury tasks
Assist the Head of Department preparing external audit’s support information
Participate in the monthly closing.

Profile required

REQUIREMENTS:
Good technical accounting skills.
Intermediate Excel skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Accounting, Finance or Business Administration qualification
Fluent English both written and spoken
