Job description
The Transactions Analyst will report into the Senior Director of Strategic Transactions. The role of an Analyst within the Transactions team at Stoneweg is to take on primary responsibility for analysing several potential investments across all asset classes and deal structures, with a focus on research, underwriting and execution. It is a highly analytical and detail oriented role.
The Analyst will support every investment decision by analysing the market in which the opportunity is being explored and coordinating the due diligence process. He will also be responsible for the coordination in the creation of the Investment Memos to be shared both internally and externally, participate in team calls and exchanges with our main LPs.
Lastly, a good communication and coordination with other teams is required for the Analyst to be fully aware of the investment process, not only from a financial point of view but also operational, from a capex perspective, from a funds perspective, legal and compliance wise, etc.
DUTIES
Participating in the research, analysis and underwriting for new opportunities, investments as well as disposals
Coordinate the due diligence process
Be part of the full acquisition and disposal process, internally and externally
Maintaining an excellent relationship with asset managers and other teams in the structure
Liaising with investors and LPs when required
Supporting the team in every process of then investment and deal execution
Profile required
Experience in a leading Real Estate advisory firm, M&A or Private Equity
Financial modelling skills
Attention to detail and strong liking of the investment arena
Enthusiastic, proactive and keen to learn and work on own initiative as well as part of a team
Methodical in reporting with the ability to present information clearly in writing and verbally
Financial, analytical and modelling skills
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Good team player contributing to the success of Stoneweg (regular liaison with other teams and offices)
