Job description
As we grow our proposition, we are seeking a Program Manager to orchestrate the delivery of high-value improvement workstreams across Lending, Savings, and Invoice Finance. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you will resolve internal resource constraints and manage a hybrid delivery model to ensure strategic milestones are met. Your role is to act as the central "traffic controller," tracking program outcomes and monitoring operational readiness to ensure a seamless transition from build to launch.
Core Responsibilities
- Owns the overarching program roadmap and delivery plan, synchronising workstreams to ensure alignment with the Chief Product Officer’s strategic goals;
- Understands resource constraints, internal bottlenecks, and business context. Identifies potential delivery risks and drives resolution to ensure workstreams remain on track;
- Owns the program-level governance, maintaining a hybrid waterfall-agile framework to track milestones, dependencies, and budgets across all active projects;
- Works closely with Product Managers and technical leads to ensure high-level business objectives translate into achievable delivery and manageable work packages;
- Defines, tracks, and reports on program health, tracks workstream delivery of business value and adheres to the bank's internal risk and compliance standards;
- Effective collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders (Risk, Legal, Finance, and IT)
- Reviews operational readiness and program milestones to ensure all delivery criteria and regulatory requirements are met before a product or feature is transitioned to live;
- Manages executive stakeholder expectations, providing the CPO and board with transparent communication regarding program progress, budget tracking, and resource hotspots.
Profile required
Essential Experience
- 5+ years in the financial services industry in Europe, ideally with expertise in the SME market;
- Experience of launching new platforms across multiple countries;
- Demonstrable experience of leading organizational change;
- Has worked in AGILE teams and organizations.
Technical Skills
- Strong stakeholder management across multiple complex relationships;
- Highly familiar with AGILE methodologies.
