Head of IT Portfolio & Service Delivery

Job description

Head of IT Portfolio & Service Delivery leads the global design, implementation, and continuous improvement of IT projects and transformation programs while also ensuring Service Delivery at Riverbank. This role ensures that IT investments, policies, and performance management systems align with strategic business objectives and regulatory requirements. Operating across geographies and in collaboration with Group and local stakeholders, the role also drives large-scale IT transformation initiatives that enhance agility, value delivery, and organizational maturity across the global IT function.

Responsibilities
Strategy & Governance
• Define and implement global IT governance frameworks, policies, and controls to support effective decision-making, compliance, and risk mitigation
• Establish and maintain IT transformation strategies that align with Riverbank’s digital, operational, and organizational goals
• Monitor adherence to governance processes and lead remediation efforts where gaps are identified
Performance & Risk Oversight
• Define performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms for IT governance and transformation programs
• Conduct maturity assessments and audits to evaluate the effectiveness of governance practices and operating models
• Identify risks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities across IT operations, projects, and platforms
Stakeholder Collaboration
• Partner with IT leaders, functional business owners, compliance teams, and external regulators to ensure strategic alignment and operational transparency
• Act as a key advisor to the CIO and IT Executive Committee on governance structures, resource planning, and transformation priorities
Transformation Enablement
• Lead or sponsor global IT transformation programs and frameworks (e.g., operating model redesign, service standardization, agility and innovation programs)
• Coordinate change management activities and stakeholder engagement strategies to ensure adoption and sustainability of change
• Provide strategic guidance to country-level teams on deploying governance models and aligning with global transformation efforts
Team Leadership & Capability Building
• Lead and develop a global governance and transformation team, building subject matter expertise and a high-performance culture while maintaining an efficient footprint in Service Delivery and Service Management
• Deliver training, mentoring, and support to increase governance awareness and transformation capabilities across the IT organization
IT Service Management (ITSM)
• Lead the definition, implementation, and continuous improvement of global ITSM processes, tools, and capabilities
• Ensure efficient and transparent operations of incident, problem, change, and service processes at global level
• Manage and evolve ITSM platforms, integrating them with delivery and support teams to improve reliability and user experience
Requirements
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
• Master’s degree preferred
• Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT), COBIT, ITIL, or equivalent certification preferred 15+ years of experience in IT or digital strategy, including 5+ years in a senior leadership or transformation role
• Proven experience in designing and managing governance structures across multiple regions or business units
• Experience leading global IT transformation programs and change initiatives in complex, matrixed organizations
Other Skills and Certifications
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, IT risk management, and enterprise portfolio governance

Languages
• Fluency in English is mandatory
• Proficiency in other major languages (e.g., French, Spanish, Portuguese) is a strong advantage
