Core Responsibilities:
• Analyse financial data and ensure accurate accounts and records of the Bank and its branches
• Support monthly closings (reconciliations, accruals, journal entries, etc) and detailed management reporting
• Perform variance analysis to identify trends, discrepancies and opportunities for performance improvement
• Support preparation of annual financial statement (LUX GAAP) for group & individual entities
• Assist in the development of comprehensive financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline budgeting and forecasting processes
• Develop and maintain robust and efficient accounting, reporting and budgeting processes
• Support prepartion of regulatory reports (i.e. FINREP, COREP, ESMA, BCL) in a compliant and robust manner
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data quality, automation, and efficiency in financial and regulatory reporting
• Support strategic initiatives and projects as required to drive excellence in financial tools and processes
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards to track financial and operational performance
• Assist in evaluating investment opportunities and business cases, providing financial insights and recommendations
Skills and Competencies:
• Master degree / professional qualification in Finance, Accounting or related field
• At least 5 years of accounting related experience in or for banks / financials services entities
• Solid experience in financial modeling, budget planning and cash flow analysis
• Well-grounded experience and knowledge of variance analysis and financial planning
• Highly skilled in Excel (including VBA) and excellent knowledge across Microsoft Office applications
• Solid knowledge of LUX GAAP and IFRS accounting standards
• Strong analytical skills and impecable attention to detail
• Fluency in English, in addition, either French, Dutch or Spanish is a plus

We are looking for persons used to presenting findings to investors, as well as our Business Plan.
The person should also ideally have Corporate Banking, Real Estate plus deposits experience
