Job description
The Compliance Department at RiverBank ensures that the Bank adheres to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. It plays a critical role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating compliance risks across the business.
Primary Responsibilities
• Oversight onboarding and KYC;
• Oversight of loan portfolio (mostly Netherlands, France);
• Oversight of deposit portfolio;
• Ensure that all compliance risks are thoroughly reviewed and accurately assessed by the Credit Committee;
• Ensure all deals are correctly assessed at Credit Committee;
• Correspondence with external counterparties;
• Investigation of discrepancies and related follow-up actions;
• Reconciliation of bank accounts movements and balances;
• Stakeholder reporting;
• Prepare board and executive level presentations to guide business strategy decision making and reporting.
Profile required
• 3+ years of back office, loan administration experience, credit analysis or Compliance in a bank;
• Master Degree in Corporate Financial Management;
• Good knowledge of loans and banking institutions;
• Credit and Risk Management experiences would be a strong plus;
• Skills in loan document inventory management and record keeping;
• Strong IT and systems skills (Excel proficiency, loan management systems, electronic banking systems, SQL, Python and VBA, etc…);
• High attention to detail, controls and ability to multi-task;
• Ability to adapt and work quickly and accurately under pressure to meet required deadlines;
• Strong problem solving and analysis skills, combined with effective judgment and communication skills;
• Team player with good relationship building skills. The position requires continuous interaction with other internal departments and external partners;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. International experiences;
• Master Degree in Corporate Financial Management;
• Fluent in English. French, Dutch or Spanish would be an advantage.
