About the Role
As a Junior Accountant, you’ll work closely with our Senior Accountant and support the accounting processes for several companies. Your daily tasks will include helping ensure invoices are processed accurately and on time and assisting with customer and supplier follow-ups. You’ll join a small, supportive team where colleagues take the time to guide you and share their knowledge. Besides a generic function where you can combine Accounts Payable and Accounts receivable tasks, we offer a dynamic and supportive work environment that encourages innovation, collaboration, and personal development.
Responsibilities
Process and record purchase invoices
Assist with customer and supplier follow-ups
Reconcile bank transactions and accounting records
Assist the senior accountant in the monthly and year-end closing process
Assist in preparing VAT returns or tax documentation
Qualifications & required skills
You hold a Bachelor degree in Accounting, a first experience in accounting is a plus
You’re comfortable navigating Excel to support your work
You are hands on and eager to learn
You are a team player
You have a positive attitude
You are fluent in Dutch and English, verbal and written, German knowledge is considered a plus
