Senior Business Development Manager (m/f/d)

Job description


Lucca Software provides SaaS solutions to optimize administrative and HR
processes. We have more than 8’700 clients and 1’400’000 users all around the
world (130 countries).
We design software solutions that provide simple answers to specific needs: time &
activity management, HR management, employee engagement, expense reports.
Our goal is to increase productivity while providing our clients with a simple, efficient
and user-friendly experience.

Given our strong growth (40% per year on average) and our ambitions, we need to
strengthen our workforce, which currently stands at 750 people in France (Paris,
Marseille, Nantes), Spain (Barcelona), Switzerland (Geneva, Basel) and now
Germany (Munich).

Your role
In order to continue our expansion in this market, we are looking for a Business
Development Manager with strong leadership potential to help build our
commercial footprint – and in the medium term, lead and grow a local sales
team.

Reporting directly to the Country Manager Germany, you will actively contribute to
the go-to-market strategy, bring new leads with high potential and contribute to our
aim of becoming a key player on the local market.
To be successful in your mission, you will have to interact and work with various
Business Units at Lucca (Sales, Marketing, Business Tech, etc.).


And, what will you do exactly?

- Search for new business opportunities using any relevant mean (phone, email,
linkedin, professional network...) and qualify inbound demand generated by the
Marketing Team.
- Deeply understand the needs of our potential clients in Germany and obtain
qualified appointments (physically or remotely).- Present our solutions and convince
prospects of our added value.
- Quote commercial offers, negotiate and finally close deals.
- Ensure a high level of client satisfaction and identify new needs among our clients
in order to sell them new solutions.
- Suggest new sales techniques, optimizing our lead qualification strategy and
processes.
- Rigorously use our CRM Salesforce and our marketing automation tool Outreach.
- Support the development of the German sales structure by sharing best
practices and mentoring new team members.

Profile required

This job will suits you beautifully if:

❏ You have a Bachelor / Master’s degree in sales or related field.
❏ Proven track record of success in full cycle sales in the German market,
preferably in a SaaS environment, ideally in a SaaS or subscription model company.
❏ You have a strategic mindset and strong initiative—you’re not just looking
for a sales job, but to grow into a leadership role.
❏ Knowledge of the HR domain would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise, we will
help you ;)
❏ You have very good communication skills both in writing and orally, to
communicate internally and represent the company in the country.
❏ You are comfortable in a fast-paced environment, recovering quickly from
setbacks and seeing them as an opportunity to progress.
❏ You like to work in an international team and in a good mood. Team spirit and
intellectual curiosity are your top 2 qualities.
❏ You are native German & fluent in English.
