Job description
As we continue to expand our team specializing in managed legal services, we are looking for a Legal Associate for our office in Mauritius, based in Ebene.
MISSION:
• Review and update existing client database (record keeping obligations);
• Conduct legal research in specific industries and draft summaries of legal texts accurately;
• Provide administrative support to the company;
• Collaborate with our US team;
• Provide further legal and paralegal support services as required.
Profile required
• Be a fresh graduate with a university law degree from a university of good standing;
• Have outstanding speaking and drafting skills in French and in English;
• Have a strong ability to identify typographical errors as well as mistakes in grammar and punctuation in English;
• Show a passion for detail and a meticulous approach to their work;
• Be able and ready to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment for some of the most demanding clients in the world;
• Be proactive and assist the superiors in their assignments;
• Have good computer skills including a good command of MS Word and MS Excel;
• Have a good and positive attitude at work.
