Working student Procurement (m/f/d)

Job description


ATMOS Space Cargo is seeking a Working Student Procurement to support our procurement and supply chain activities. In this role, you will help manage procurement operations, supplier coordination, inventory follow-up, and customs-related processes.

Please note that this role requires regular onsite presence at our Lichtenau location.

Key responsibilities

- You will support end-to-end procurement activities in Yooz, including Requests for Quotation (RFQs), Purchase Requests (PRs), and Purchase Orders (POs)
- You will coordinate approval workflows with internal stakeholders, especially across Tech and Finance
- You will monitor and maintain procurement-related data and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
- You will support the tracking and follow-up of inventory processes in Inventory One
- You will maintain and update the supplier database
- You will liaise with suppliers on availability, lead times, delivery schedules, and payment terms
- You will support customs-related coordination for incoming shipments, depending on the country of origin
- You will contribute to smooth day-to-day purchasing operations and help improve procurement processes where needed

Profile required


- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong written and spoken German and English skills; French is a plus
- Good communication skills and a proactive, structured way of working
- Strong attention to detail and a reliable approach to administrative and coordination tasks
- Good Excel skills and confidence working with digital tools and systems
- Interest in procurement, supply chain operations, and cross-functional collaboration
- Interest in the space industry is a plus
