ATMOS Space Cargo is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to lead the design, integration, and verification of cutting-edge re-entry and return vehicle technologies. We are looking for someone who can bring together multidisciplinary teams and technologies to make our capsule work flawlessly from launch to landing. Key Responsibilities:
- Define, develop, and own the systems architecture for the PHOENIX 2 re-entry vehicle
- Lead requirements definition, flow-down, and verification across all engineering disciplines to ensure end-to-end mission success
- Champion systems engineering best practices, agile development processes, and a culture of continuous improvement
Profile required
- Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- 5+ years’ experience in systems engineering for complex aerospace systems
- Strong grasp of spacecraft subsystems (structures, propulsion, thermal, avionics, GNC) and their integration
- Skilled in requirements management and system verification
- Excellent communication skills in English; German or French a plus
- Structured, proactive, and collaborative working style
