Job description
- Be the right hand to the Finance team by supporting daily finance operations and keeping our financial processes running smoothly
- Own the invoice flow – manage, verify, and track invoices, follow up on overdue payments, and ensure purchase orders and invoices match perfectly
- Boost automation by helping implement new digital tools that streamline invoice collection and finance workflows
- Collaborate with suppliers & internal teams to clarify missing information, confirm payments, and maintain clear, efficient communication
- Keep our financial records sharp – organise digital documentation, support entries in DATEV, and contribute to clear, reliable financial reporting (grants, expenses, cost centers)
- Support broader finance activities, including light inventory tasks and contributing to financial overviews and reports
Profile required
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a comparable field
- Strong attention to detail with a natural affinity for numbers
- Reliable, structured, and proactive working style
- Excellent communication skills in German and English (written & verbal)
- Experience with Excel or accounting software (e.g., DATEV, Qonto) is a plus
- High level of discretion and reliability when handling financial data
