Job description
ATMOS Space Cargo is seeking an Intern GNC Testing (m/f/d) to join our GNC team, supporting the testing of GNC hardware (sensors and actuators) and the hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test environment used to validate our re-entry vehicle systems.
Key responsibilities
- You will test GNC hardware (sensors and actuators) and postprocess the gathered data.
- You will set up the testing environment required to perform tests, then evaluate and compare output data, including developing Python, C++, or MATLAB scripts for test automation, retrieval of outputs, and data analysis.
- You will implement and update electronic interface models of the different devices included in the HIL models.
Profile required
- Currently pursuing a degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
- First experience with programming in Python, C++, and/or MATLAB (through coursework or projects).
- Interest in sensor/actuator interfacing and hardware testing.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Good communication skills in English (German a plus).
- Have availability to work on-site in our partner site in 88046 Friedrichshafen, Germany.
